Part III: Gabriëlle de Kok

Where did your fascination for photography begin?
My father and grandmother also photographed so I came into contact with many pictures and photography in my youth. As a 5 year old I got my first analog camera; flowers and animals where my main subject. Later on I did 'fashion shoots' with friends where I showed a story, an emotion or atmosphere. I also merged photos and played around with photoshop I saw this as my creative outlet. I noticed that I liked expressing myself through photos, as a kind of visual diary. Read more...

KABK photo exhibition
Just as last year, three young and talented photographers from the KABK are participating in this program: Sofie van der Sman, Juuke Schoorl, and Gabrielle de Kok. They follow the choreographers in their proces with their cameras. During the festival, the result will be exhibited in the Korzo foyer.
