Just as last year, three young and talented photographers from the KABK are participating in this program: Sofie van der Sman, Juuke Schoorl, and Gabrielle de Kok. They follow the choreographers in their proces with their cameras. During the festival, the result will be exhibited in the Korzo foyer. Dancing with Kylián

Photographer Joris-Jan Bos feels honored to have experienced and photographed the work of Jiří Kylián from a front row position for quite a few years. He has twice had the chance to put together an exhibition of this work at the Place des Arts in Montréal and OPEREAN in Oslo. Now, he curates an exhibition for the third time in his home town of The Hague, specially for the Kylián Festival in Korzo’s foyer.

visit the third All there is performance for free!

"Is that all there is?" asks the singer Peggy Lee in her famous song about what really matters in life. Her consluion: "If that's all there is, my friend, then let's keep dancing..." And that is exactly what happens in All there is, the dance program on the Sunday afternoon. Where not so much the choreography or the concept, but the performer is in the center of attention. Revanta Sarabhai (Lucifer)

De in Nederland woonachtig Japanse choreograaf/danser Kenzo Kusuda presenteert in oktober een nieuw programma: Flora, Lucifer, Nebula, Dew. Hij werkt hiervoor met vier totaal verschillende dansers samen, afkomstig uit China, India, Bolivia en Senegal. Geraakt door natuurfenomenen en herinneringen creëert Kenzo met iedere danser een solo, die ze gezamenlijk presenteren. We waren zeer nieuwsgierig naar deze dansers en stelden ze een aantal vragen.
