The international ensemble Modelo62 from The Hague treats the senses to a collective night out. In Sensorama, the ensemble connects and combines various artistic disciplines. They play the intoxicating work A Sensorium by Emre Sihan Kaleli, the second piece he wrote for Modelo62 as guest composer. The music arises in consultation with theatre maker Luz Lassizuk and artist Yolanda Uriz Elizalde. She designs lighting, projections, and fragrances, which give the music added overtones. Lassizuk gets the musicians moving with an unusual choreography and staging. The musicians also play Goyas Raüme by Gaudeamus Prize winner Tobias Kilch, but they perform behind a translucent video screen. They take on the shape and attitude of animals and demons that populate the Los Caprichos by Goya: eighty etchings portraying human frailty.
