Sweet Solitude

In a world of social networks, mobile phones, and ‘always busy, busy, busy’, The Alchemy Ensemble creates a place where we can empty our heads and find some rest. A place where we can fall back on our elementary need for seclusion. To remember what is was like to dream, or just to breathe. Sweet Solitude is an answer to the daily craziness, in which the world is stopped for a time and creativity is stimulated.

For this performance, The Alchemy Ensemble mixes dance with vocal works by Henry Purcell and Samuel Barber, poetry and natural elements. A delightfully secluded and magical world of wonder is the result.
