Korzo comes home! In a brand new theatre that stands for the heart and vision of Korzo: the creation and presentation of art to the public all joined in one building.

With two auditoria, a presentation studio, and three rehearsal studios, the new building is a place where choreographers, musicians, directors, and video artists can make and present their stories in dance, music, and drama. These spaces are all centered around the foyer, Korzo’s epicenter. The front of the building is made of glass, welcoming views from the street from passers-by, and, once inside affords a view of the studios and auditoria. At last Korzo can reveal its well-kept secrets to everyone.

For the visitor, an evening in Korzo can often be unpredictable, those who would dare, however will be surprised. Korzo likes to make performances, programs, and events for everyone who sees further than the end of their noses, for people who are distinctly curious and want an out-of-the-ordinary evening at the theatre. For this reason, it’s unthinkable that the audience is not taken into account. Art gains significance through the experience of the audience, for the artist as well as for the spectator. It is this interaction that matters to us, even when a performance isn’t completely understood. With its three presentation spaces, and open foyer, the new building offers all opportunities for encounters, enlightening conversations, acquaintances, and deeper reflection.
