De Dutch Summer Dance Course (DeDSDC) offers a variety of courses for professional dancers, academy students and amateur dancers from ages two and a half to 65+. In line with the maxim, ‘Learn from the Past, step in to the Future’, course members are enriched by the wealth of the Dutch choreographic tradition; from origins to technique, inspirations and important influences. Participants follow classes in ballet, modern dance, and work on a new choreography. In addition, repertoire will be rehearsed by Hans van Manen and Jiří Kylián. The emphasis will be on the process of the complete course, the dancers have the freedom to develop themselves and experiment without pressure. All this under the supervision of professional and passionate instructors.
