A group of people incessantly run up against a wall. They try to get as high as they can in an attempt to clear the wall, to get past it. Each time they retreat to gather strength for a renewed attempt, like waves beating against a rock. Fifteen performers trained in circus, physical theater, and free running try to overcome the wall, against all odds. Gradually, the individuals within the swarm become discernable. We hear the rhythm of their feat. Director Floor van Leeuwen from the theatre collective Schwalbe makes the energy of the group tangible. Then wild, then calm, but with a consistent resolve.
