iii Presents With Mark Meeuwenoord, Matteo Marangoni, Marije Baalman and Ahnjili ZhuParris.
Duration 60 min

Artificial Kinship panel discussion

Join us for an inspiring conversation about Artificial Kinship within Webs of Intelligence.

At the start of the evening, a panel of artist–engineers will explore alternative perspectives on artificial intelligence, looking beyond today’s dominant large language models. Together, they investigate how we can understand and shape the relationships between artificial, human, and non-human intelligences. How might these connections enrich our shared experience, rather than reduce it?

This discussion also marks the kickoff of a two-year artistic research project by iii, in collaboration with Avans Hogeschool, Breda Robotics, and CZ, supported by Regieorgaan SIA.

A conversation between Mark Meeuwenoord, Matteo Marangoni, Marije Baalman, and Ahnjili ZhuParris.

After the discussion, stay with us for an evening of performances, videos, and installations exploring the intricate bonds between humans and technology, curated by Sanneke Huisman.
During the evening, a new edition of the iii Blueprint seriesBlueprint #4: Shadow Puppet?, will be launched, and you get to chance to experience the performance ‘Shadow Puppet?’ by Mariska de Groot and Dieter Vandoren. Read more here.

Admission is free, but space is limited, reserve your spot!

You can also get a combi ticket for both the panel programme and the full evening event here.
