“We believe in being together.”
Three dancers play an exciting game with ten large doors that keep changing places. This creates a unique world on stage, full of coming and going, getting lost and finding yourself again. The audience sits in the stands or around the playing area, taken along for the ride in this bold adventure. Sometimes you can even step through a door yourself if you want to, other times, inspired thought surfaces: why do people say crazy things when they leave? How long do you actually have to be away to encounter yourself? And can you also leave together? The makers of this performance have presented their pieces all over the world, so this will be a special event.
This performance is part of festival De Betovering’s program at Korzo.
The100Hands from Breda creates dance performances you do not only watch, but can also participate in yourself, or get very close. Led by Jasper Džuki Jelen and Mojra Vogelnik Škerlj, they come up with ways to get people moving, feeling and thinking about how we interact with each other. Their sustainable performances are performed in all kinds of places, from theatres to outside on the street, in The Netherlands and far beyond. Because being together, moving and experiencing makes us all a little more human.
